About Radley

Meet Radley Spring
I am a father, coach, and community mentor with a lifelong commitment to helping young people grow in strength, courage, and character.
Together with my 9-year-old son Percival, I created "Percival’s Quest Adventure Camp" to give children meaningful outdoor experiences that build resilience, teamwork, and joy.

Guiding the Next Generation of Adventurers
For over 20 years I’ve worked in youth development, coaching, and physical education. My experience includes:
Surf Lifesaving: 7 years as a patrolling member of North Bondi Surf Lifesaving Club (most recently in 2014)
Coaching & Mentoring: Rowing coach for school programs and young athletes, and an experienced trainer across multiple sports
Cultural Practice: Teacher of Pahlavani, the ancient Persian martial art that develops discipline, strength, and respect
Volunteering: Regularly contribute at my children’s schools, Holy Cross and Woollahra Public, supporting teachers and kids
Parenting: Proud dad of two boys, Percival and Arthur, who inspire my work every day
Qualifications & Safety
I take the safety and wellbeing of every child seriously. Our camp operates under strict professional standards, including:

Inspiration + values
My approach is guided by the rites of passage work of Dr Arne Rubinstein and the teachings of Jocko Willink’s Warrior Kid series, which emphasise discipline, service, and self-respect. These influences shape the camp’s motto: Just, Generous, and Kind.
At every Quest, children leave with new skills, new friendships, and the feeling that they’ve been part of something bigger than themselves.
