PRESENT ALWAYS, GENEROUS & KIND

Not just a camp,
a quest!

Percival’s Quest is a Bondi-based, action-packed day camp led by 9-year-old Percival and his dad Radley — a seasoned strength coach and mentor.

Rooted in stories of King Arthur and the Warrior Kid, this camp is designed to help children build strength, courage, character, and connection — all while having an epic outdoor adventure.

We welcome up to 10 children aged 7–12 for a full day of challenges, bonding, and discovery. Activities will take place across beach, ocean, rocks, and reserve. Rain or shine!

So what does a typical day look like?

Each day is packed with adventure, challenges, and opportunities for kids to learn, play, and grow. Activities are carefully designed for 8–10-year-olds (boys and girls) and can be adapted for different energy levels. A typical day might include:

  • Welcome & Warm-up: Partner games and the Camp’s “Code of the Quest”
  • Ancient Battle Training: Sword skills, shields, and team formations
  • Team Sand Challenges: Relay races and obstacle courses
  • Ocean Wave Survival Skills: Fun, confidence-building water activities
  • Lunch: BYO picnic-style break
  • Service to Others Task: Camp clean-up, buddy system, or small acts of teamwork
  • Hand-to-Hand Combat Basics: Wrestling and Jiujitsu-style drills
  • Navigate Rocky Shore: Scramble adventures and treasure hunts
  • Quest Ceremony & Reflection: Celebrate achievements and lessons learned
  • Farewell & Pickup: Time to share stories and say goodbye

All activities are designed to be fun, safe, and full of opportunities for kids to build courage, resilience, and connection.

Where and what time do I drop my child off? And pickup?

Gather at Ben Buckler, North Bondi at 9:00 AM to begin the day’s adventure, and pick up your hero at 3:00 PM — likely tired, happy, and full of legendary tales.

Do I need to pack anything for them?

Bring a simple packed lunch (we’ll handle snacks and smoothies), a water bottle, swimmers, towel, and a jumper — all the essentials for a day of quests and adventures.

Does my child need any particular skills to participate?

Not at all! Kids don’t need any special skills or experience to join Percival’s Quest. Our facilitators are there to guide, support, and adapt activities so that every adventurer — no matter their skill level — can jump in, have fun, and feel included.
